It has been my aim all these while to constantly live a life of praise. My decision came as a result of a strong belief that my lifestyle of praise positions me for God's blessings; enables God to take over my battles; forcing the earth to give up her increase because of my praise and because God is good and wants me to live well, look good and ride in the best.
A lifestyle of praise does not just happen. It is a journey into the very heart of God. As a result, it has been my duty to engage in ceaseless praise, release thanksgiving for God's presence, stir God up with praise in the midst of adversity, keep the high praises of God in my mouth everywhere I go and refuse to allow negative circumstances to get me down.
If you ever find yourself in trouble, use praise as a key to unlock the "prison doors" of your circumstance. No matter what is going on in your life, fill your mouth with the high praises of God! Whenever a situation tries to overwhelm you, don't struggle
The Bible says in Acts 16:25-26 that at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God and as a result, the prison doors opened and every one's bands loosed. If you ever find yourself in trouble, it is expected that you use praise as a key to unlock the "prison doors" of your circumstance. No matter what is going on in your life, you can fill your mouth with the high praises of God!
Whenever a situation tries to overwhelm you, struggling will be a waste of time; rather, begin celebrating God from the depths of your heart. Be assured that when you praise Him, He will do wonders (Exodus 15:11). In essence, God is saying, "If there is still breath in you, praise Me and I will be present with you" (Psalm 150:6). A praising saint lives stress-free in the presence of God! When the children of Israel praised the Lord, God inhabited, or took up residence in their praises. He never turns down an invitation that is extended by your praise.
You were created to praise God. Until you understand the purpose for your creation and begin fulfilling that purpose, you will remain frustrated. No Christian is at his or her best without fulfilling his or her calling to praise God. Until you give to God what is due to Him, do not expect what is due to you. A praising Christian is an individual who is ever shining, reigning and ruling in life! Praises and living by faith pleases God, but faith is not as potent as praise. While faith taps into God's faithfulness, praise engages His personality. Your living by faith moves Him to honor your faith; however, when you please Him through your praise, He visits you in person. God's faithfulness is triggered by your faith, while praise brings you into His presence. Through faith you carry in hand a heavenly note of what you desire from Him. When you praise God, He raises you out of your circumstance.
Never take God's faithfulness for granted. Doing so will hinder your progress in life. Always acknowledge Him for what He does on your behalf. Continually say, "Lord, I know that You are the One Who has made the difference in my life". This acknowledgment brings glory to God. Do not acknowledge Him with meaningless words. Instead, mean what you say from the depths of your heart. You can never be fruitful in the things of God without being grateful. Every seed you sow without gratitude falls on stony ground and has no future (Mark 4:5). Gratitude equals altitude! When you refuse to acknowledge God's hand in your deliverance, you frustrate Him and compel Him to stop blessing you. Therefore, find a reason to be grateful, whether it is for your health or for your never being without food. Gratitude is another way to praise God.
However on a final note: do not complain! Everyone who complains ends up a convict - a person imprisoned by his or her circumstance - whereas every singing and jumping saint stands as a celebrity above the situation at hand. The person who lives in complaint lives in defeat. The person who lives in praise lives in victory! The decision is yours.
